There are many ways to participate on our site! Here’s how:

EVENT LISTINGS – a listing is a one-day event or the start date of a series. Listings can be submitted at any time for any date since we host an entire year at a time. Your event will be removed once the date has expired.
All events are $5 each, prepaid. Events can be submitted via a Word document or within the body of an email to thedooropener@comcast.net. You will receive a billing statement shortly after submission. Once your bill is paid, your event(s) will be uploaded within 48 hours.
Events must be submitted in the following format. If we need to restructure your submission into this format, there will be a $2 upcharge per event. ALL of the information below should not exceed a total of 130 words (please use your Word Count feature under Tools).

ONGOING EVENTS – this section is the same as listings (above) except they remain online for 3 months at a cost of $10. This is for events that run regularly once a week, once or twice a month, etc.
SCHOOLS or TRAININGS and ENERGY – this category is for multi-session events or trainings, or for offerings that have no specific date.
Prepaid pricing is as follows (use your Word Count feature under Tools to ascertain the size of your submission) Your submission will remain online for up to three months at a time (unless your event date expires prior thereto):
Up to 100 words – $10
101-150 words – $15
151-200 words – $20
201-250 words – $25
251-300 words – $30
301-350 words – $35
351-400 words – $40
BANNERS ADS – Business card sized ad appears on every page of our entire website – automatic link to your website – 325 x 190 pixels (JPG or PNG). We do not accept PDFs and the ad must be camera ready as we do not provide graphic services.

CLASSIFIEDS – Classified ads remain online for three months for a cost of $25 for up to 100 words.
eBLAST – eBlasts will be sent out every Monday at 1:30 p.m. Cost is $20 for participation. We will need up to 300 words of text, one graphic (jpeg only), and prepayment. We have unlimited space but will need your intention to participate on a specific eblast date as a reservation. Please submit your text within the body of an email or as a Word doc via regular email to thedooropener@comcast.net. Simply attach your jpeg.
Deadline for submission: Sunday at 12 noon to go out the following day / Monday.
*** NOTE: Since an eblast only goes out once, you may consider purchasing an Event Listing for $5 as well that will go up on our website and remain there until the date of the event has passed.
