SOUTH WINDSOR - The course does not aim at teaching the meaning of love, for that is beyond what can be taught. It does aim, however, at removing the blocks to the awareness of love's presence. SOUTHINGTON - Every Thursday evening drum circle hosted by Jami Ray from 7 to 10 p.m. There is no fee for drumming. Instruction and drums are available. We have plenty of drums for anyone who doesn't have one. Beginners and experienced drummers are invited to attend. The coffeehouse is open to those wishing to just listen as well. WEST HAVEN - Third Friday of every month. Large comfortable space with plenty of parking. Multi-cultural drumming circle suitable for all ages and abilities. This circle is open to all levels of Reiki Practitioners. Come to meet and share experiences with other Reiki Practitioners. It is a circle where only light and love reside to share touching stories and life changing experiences. As a Reiki healer, we often readily offer to share and give Reiki to others, but often we do not take opportunities to receive it for ourselves. AVON - Earthkeepers Healing Circle - FREE HEALINGS
Earthkeepers meets every other Sunday at Invitation To Live in Avon, CT. Earthkeepers Healing Circle (EHC) is a group which uses varied healing modalities to assist individuals in achieving health of body, mind and spirit, working in conjunction with or as an alternative to current medical practices. Some "clients" find EHC as a last resort to their condition and have had positive lasting results from their visit(s). EHC have been actively working for over a year (both hands-on and remotely with equal benefits), seeing 100+ individuals on a pro-bono basis. The healing circle meets every other Sunday, 11 a.m. to late afternoon at Invitation To Live. EHC does make allowances for situations that are immediate and can meet to accommodate those circumstances. HELPING CHILDREN TO HEAL GRIEF - The Cove is a non-profit organization providing help and healing for grieving children. The center is introducing a Caring Touch, Gentle Healing program for families experiencing significant loss or transition. HARWINTON - Alternative Therapies For Healing by The Healing Modalities Institute. NEW HAVEN - Introduction to Meditations and Christian Mysticism - FREE
This is a powerful 6-week introductory course designed for modern mystics. Classes will include teachings on: the Inner Spiritual Path, Meditation, Soul, Light, Prayer and Blessing. Time will be spent teaching the principles of meditation that will allow you to move deeper than the body, beyond thinking and emotions, and into the reality of God's peace and presence within.
